Code of Conduct

Responsibilities The following is a guideline provided for the participants so they are aware of their responsibilities in the Warrenville Girls Softball Association and the Warrenville Park District softball program. It is one of the most important sections in the manual so please be sure to read it carefully. Everyone from parents to participants as well as visitors will be expected to adhere to these simple guidelines
Parents Responsibilities

* Display good sportsmanship at all times.
* Demonstrate respect for all program participants.
* Provide encouragement for all children.
* Compliment outstanding play of all the participants
* Set a good example!
* Under no circumstance should you use obscene or abusive language, or endanger the well being or safety of any person observing or participating in WGSA softball.
* Support the WGSA with positive input and comments.
* Participate however you are able.
* Make sure the coach is aware of any limitations your daughter may have.

Coaches and Volunteers Responsibilities

* Teach and demonstrate good sportsmanship
* Coach according to American Sport Education Program (ASEP) philosophy-Athlete First, Winning Second.
* Teach fundamentals and skills
