7-8 Division Information

The emphasis in the Instructional League will be FUN and instruction. An 11" ball is used. Players will learn the basics of hitting, fielding, throwing, and running the bases. League rules are in place to ensure the girls play as many positions in the field as possible during the season. All players retain their position in the batting order during the game whether or not they are playing in the field; a combination of batting tee and coach pitching is used for batting. New for 2010 Juniors will play in the DuKane Girls Softball League and limited youth pitching will be introduced the second half of the season. A game will be 6 innings.
